Contact
Elder Care Index is run by a small independent team. We read every email. Here's how to get in touch and what we can (and can't) help with.
Email us
The best way to reach us:
contact@eldercareindex.comResponse time: typically 48-72 hours. We're not a 24/7 help desk — if your parent needs urgent care planning advice, please contact a qualified elder law attorney or your state's Area Agency on Aging.
In a hurry?
For your state's long-term care Medicaid agency phone number, application portal, and Area Agency on Aging contact, the fastest path is your state's Medicaid guide.
Browse state guides arrow_forwardWhat we can help with
- check Questions about what's on one of our state Medicaid guides
- check Corrections or updates to any figure we published
- check Suggestions for guides, tools, or states we should cover
- check Research partnerships with academic or nonprofit organizations
- check Data citation requests (we're happy to be cited)
What we can't help with
- info Specific eligibility determinations — see a qualified Medicaid planner or elder law attorney
- info Medical or clinical advice — see your parent's physician or care team
- info Facility recommendations — try your state's Area Agency on Aging
- info Lead-gen or placement services — we don't operate those, and won't refer you to one
We don't have a contact form
Contact forms exist to collect email addresses into marketing systems. Since we don't do marketing or lead-gen, we don't need one. Email is fine. If email is a problem for you, we'd rather know so we can fix it than hide behind a form that routes to the same inbox.
